  • Microsoft Gaming layoffs deepen
    In a fourth major restructuring, Microsoft Gaming (including Xbox, ZeniMax, King) cut as many as 9,100 jobs—around 4% of its global workforce. Multiple high-profile titles, including Perfect Dark and Everwild, were canceled, and The Initiative studio was closed.


  • Steam And itch.io Purge Adult Games
    Thousands of adult-themed titles were removed after payment processors enforced content restrictions. Developers warned this sets a precedent for censorship via financial control.
